(Near Tucson, Arizona: Barry Serafin) The state of the biosphere in Arizona featured; details recalled of the 1991 experiment in which biospherians sealed themselves inside the terrarium that was designed to be a self- sustaining model for life in space. [NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) scientist Gerald SOFFEN - comments on the experiment.] Columbia University said taking over management of the biosphere for education in environmental science and as a site for scientific experiments on global warming. [Project president William HARRIS - comments.]
