(Convent, LA: Anderson Cooper) The reaction in the tiny mostly black town of Convent, LA, to the plans to build yet another smoke-belching chemical plants featured; scenes shown. [Resident Imelda WEST, petitioner Pat MELICHON - call it environmental injustice.] The 1994 executive order signed by President Clinton that says no minority group should be disproportionately exposed to environmental pollution noted. [Shintech Richard MASON, resident Carol KODAY - defend selection of Convent for a new chemical plant.] The Environmental Protection Agency said planning to decide if there is environment injustice in this Louisiana town.
