(Studio) Senator George McGovern accuses President Nixon of orchestrating peace rumors for campaign purposes. South Vietnam President Thieu tells rally a negotiated end to Vietnam war is impossible. Vows to kill all Communists for peace.

(Saigon, South Vietnam) With North Vietnam troops within 20 mile Saigon, President Thieu reviews student civil defense forces. Thieu says not to expect peace while North Vietnam soldiers remain in South Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
