(Washington: Linda Douglass) Shooting at the Capitol featured; scenes shown. [Many BYSTANDERS - describe what happened.] [US Capitol police spokesman sergeant Dan NICHOLS - says two Capitol policemen and the suspect were shot.] The condition of the wounded woman Angela Dickerson noted.

(Studio: Peter Jennings) The names of the policemen who were killed noted.
