(Aiken, SC: John Martin) The failure of government efforts to clean up radioactive nuclear waste from weapons production along the Savannah River featured; scenes shown from the processing plant built by the Energy Department; details given of how the plant's "in tank precipitation" system worked. [Former Energy Department engineer Herman BRANDT - says the DOE was playing with fire because toxic benzene was created.] The high cost of this failed system cited. [Representative John DINGELL, Undersecretary of Energy Ernest MONIZ - admit the plant does not work.]
