(Studio) Fighting intense in South Vietnam. Massive guerrilla attack reported at Am Las, probably to draw allied troops away from Central Highlands where big Communist Tet offensive expected. Allied bombers fly 400 sorties, over Highlands, mostly by South Vietnam Air Force.

(Bein Hoa, South Vietnam) Air Control Towers completely manned by South Vietnam mow. South Vietnam pilots have always been good. Ground troops, technicians weak. Now South Vietnam ground troops service United States jets as well as their own.
