(Studio) Riots on Peking Univ. campus were led by Chairperson Mao.

(Peking, China) In 1966, when China's cultural revolution began, Chairperson Mao invited nation's. youth to help him in purifying Chinese bureaucracy. The Univ. was almost destroyed in process. [Vice Chairperson Revolutionary Committee which operates Univ., takes reporters on tour and describes chaos when Red guards disrupted school.] School curriculum now tied to Chairperson Mao's principle of relating theory to practice.
