(Studio) Communists mount propaganda offensive to counter President Peace Plan on eve of trip to China. Delegations from North Vietnam, VC, and Communist organizations of Laos and Cambodia arrive in Paris for speech making and to criticize Nixon plan.

(Phuoc Le, South Vietnam) North Vietnam and Viet Cong demand South Vietnam President Thieu step down because of Thieu's political machine. Province Chiefs extend Thieu's authority to most remote village in intricate patronage system sponsored by him. Thieu said confident he could win an election, even if he stepped down from office 1 month prior, due to political machine.
