(Studio) Catholic ldrs'. Day of Disruption for civil rights, unsuccessful.

(N. Ireland) North Ireland Civil Rights Assn's. Disruption Day held to protest policy of internment. Paralysis with non-violence was goal. In (Newry), burning vehicles barricaded streets. In (Londonderry), opposition MPs hold 24 hour hunger strike to mark deaths of 13 men shot by soldiers. In (Belfast) peaceful protests turn to rock throwing. But day is basically undistinguished.
