(Studio) New York Judge grants George Wallace use of Shea Stadium for rally. City had said policy rules out political events there. Wallace campaigns in Michigan.

(Grand Rapids, Michigan) Wallace speaks at rally of 8,000. 1/3 audience against him; protest shown. [WALLACE - says he'll go home later.] Other crowd says "We want Wallace". [WALLACE - says appreciates activity because you've gotten me 1/2 million votes.] Wallace and opposition thrive on each other.
