(Chicago, Illinois) Civic organization, Citizens of Greater Chicago, honor Daley for courageous protection of city. [DALEY - says also our duty to see people have right of petition and assembly. If group declares intents of violence, public must be protected.] 3 members organization board of dirs. resign in protest. [Norman DOLNICK - says Daley and police behavior is matter of contention. Hearings going on. Award improper at this time.] ACLU publish magazine "Law and Disorder: The Chicago Convention and its Aftermath". [ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) SPOKESPERSON - presented fair and honest view that's 1 sided because there is only 1 side.]
