(Studio) Report on new sort of heckling.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(Syracuse, New York) Syracuse University students heckle. [Richard NIXON - announces students who'll sing song showing their differences with Nixon.] Students sing "The Sounds of Silence", showing concern with regard to his refusal to debate and lack of clarity on issues. [NIXON - says United States became great due to dissent. No reason for breaking law or violence to cause change.] Students listen silently; some walk out.
