(Studio) Film shot inside North Vietnam secured from French cameraman Roger Pic, who supplied all information Charles Collingwood visited North Vietnam last spring.

(North Vietnam Report from Paris, France) Anti-aircraft battery shoots at United States plane. Plane not hit. Workers at camera site did not know of United States bomb halt until 2 days later. Ho Chi Minh announcement read. Brunt of air attack hit North Vietnam panhandle. Route 1 in panhandle shown. Bombed out land shown. Near Dong Loc. Bicycles used to haul rocks to rebuild Highway 1. People repair dyke, chiefly women. Not evacuated during United States raids because needed to repair damage. People relocated, off beaten track. Civilian casualties apparently light. People have been spared for this work. Organized civilian manpower, North Vietnam's chief weapon against United States airpower. Old weapons against new ones Trucks headed South got through even during bombing.
