(Portland, OR) [PACKWOOD - considers this a victory. Recount seldom changes much.] Most feel Packwood won though Morse hasn't conceded. Morse 1st of Senators to criticize Vietnam war. In 1952, he quit Republican Party, became independent, and then Democrat He'll go back to farm in Eugene, OR.
