(Eagle Pass, Texas) Mexican-American commutes 70 mile to college. Jo Fuentos came to Eagle Pass as Vista volunteer; married Rumel Fuentos last summer; is planned parenthood counselor Neighborhood cntr. shown. New cntr. being built from sale of tamales, old clothes. [Rumel FUENTOS - speaks of project. ] Rumel teaches at night. [FUENTOS - teaches English.] Rumel conts. teaching though funds cut off by DC. [Jo and Rumel FUENTOS - talk of their life.] Jo Fuentos is secretary at Methodist Church. Children's choir sings "Silent Night." Jo Fuentos is Girl Scout leader too. Jo and Rumel decorate Christmas tree. Rumel plays guitar.
