[Georgia Democratic Chairperson James GRAY - cites Govs. John Connally, Buford Ellington, John McKeithen, Bob McNair, Carl Sanders, Terry Sanford and George Smathers as possible Vice President nominees.] Georgia Governor Lester Maddox' name left off. [GRAY - says Maddox hasn't said anything so he'd be presuming if he speak for him.] [SPKR. - says Humphrey-McCarthy ticket would be unpalatable to South] George Wallace may carry South anyway.
