(Studio) City police and others block off 1 mile square area around International Amphitheatre to enforce total security starting Sunday at 12 a.m. National Guard moves in.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(Chicago, Illinois) Guard shown. Federal troops available on short notice. Illinois National Guard Brigadier Commander Rich Dunn expects guard will control demonstrations rather than put down riots. [DUNN - says doesn't envision use for ammunition Thinks demonstrators will act within permit limits. If situation got out of hand, wouldn't want to go back to armory to get ammunition] Guard won't have kid glove approach.
