(Studio) Nixon reports early for work; schedules 8 a.m. ceremony for Wednesday
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(DC) Nixon to do most work in office in Executive Office Building New White House staff undermanned; Nixons and staff host reception for campaign workers. At swearing-in ceremony for staffers, Nixon says life will be hairy working for him. Predicts long hours for staffers. National Security Council meets; Nixon to depend upon it for advice. Achieving peace in Vietnam was topic for discussion.
