(Studio) Jan Palach, Czech. student who burned self to death protesting Soviet occupation to be buried Saturday; Czech. army placed on alert for anti-soviet demonstrations. In Prague, 1000's paid tribute.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner
(Prague, Czechoslovakia) Candles lit and flowers placed for Palach in Wenceslaus Square. Outside Charles University, mourners carry flowers to body lying in state. Czech. leaders fearful anti-Soviet sentiment will cause Soviet tanks to return. Palach to be buried in hero's cemetery.
