(Studio) Dean Rusk held press conf., possibly last as Secretary of State. [RUSK - help bring about peace in Middle East.] Rusk said Russia could not initiate Big 4 peace settlement; they could only negotiate through UN. Israeli planes continue to attack Jordan. Report on commando group opposing Israel.

(Jordan) Commando training is to destroy Israel and return land, homes to Palestine. Use Soviet machine guns. Support for soldiers' family and help available for refugees. Yasir Arafat, commando leader, says they have rights. Commando raids will continue. Israel and Jordan want to destroy each other. Defense Min. of Lebanon announces conscription; says Lebanon will fight with everything she's got.
