(Studio) President Nixon announces sending of Apollo VIII commander Colonel Frank Borman on 8-nation goodwill Europe tour. Nixon makes announcement after leaving prayer breakfast.

(DC) Congress sponsors annual prayer breakfast. Reverend Billy Graham appears. [NIXON - gets many letters indicating people praying for US; can meet challenges sustained by faith.] Nixon visits Justice Department; Attorney General John Mitchell introduces him as senior partner in Justice Department law firm. [NIXON - law enforcement to determine how administration is looked at.] Nixon visits plaza of Justice Department where Robert F. Kennedy bust on display. Nixon orders Defense Secretary Melvin Laird to develop plan for ending draft and beginning volunteer army.
