(Studio) Planners of moratorium are strange alliance.

(DC) New mobilization is loose, sometimes quarrelsome coalition. No Yippies or SDS. 60-member Steering Committee incls. Communist and 2 Trotskyite Socialists. One of the latter, Carol Lipmann, says organization's only position is to end war. Co Chairperson include Sidney Lens, Sidney Peck, Stewart Meacham, Mrs. Cora Weiss, and David Dellinger. Short sketch on each. W. E. B. DuBois Club, church groups, and urban coalition have members on committee Committee in debt; expenses are $130,000. Gifts small; less well-organized and financed than last month's.
