(Studio) Washington, DC reaction to Meadlo interview.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(DC) Senator Peter Dominick says CBS interview violated Meadlo's rights. CBS said Meadlo received legal advice from Washington, DC law firm. [Senator DOMINICK - says Calley under indictment for murder, and witness alleges things on TV that jeopardize trial. Inexcusable and totally wrong.] Senator Hollings says Meadlo suffering from combat sickness, and interview was out of order. CBS says Meadlo entitled to make story known if he wished to. Congress Armed Services Committee calls on Army. Secretary, Stanley Resor, to testify.
