(DC) United States Amb, to Saigon, Ellsworth Bunker, rptdly. asked to be relieved. CBS said Bunker told President Nixon of desire last fall. President waiting because Bunker is a strong Thieu supporter. Edward A. Gullian considered as replacement. Says he'd take job if offered. White House discourages speculation of Bunker replacing Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge. Pres, assistant, Bud Wilkinson to get more duties, New draft director to be reported soon. Possible Supreme Court candidate, Charles Wright, dined with Attorney General John Mitchell.
