(Studio) Communist East Germany warned of repercussions if West Germany goes ahead with plans for President election in West Berlin. Ban placed on overland travel to Berlin.

(Bonn, West Germany) Greatest threat to peace is divided Germany. Communists claim West Berlin not point of West Germany. New travel restrictions placed on roads linking West with Berlin. Ban specifically applies to election officials and their supplies. Stranglehold tightened around West Berlin.
