(Los Angeles, California) Deft Attorney Emile Zola Berman makes opening statement saying Sirhan killed Kennedy in sick frame of mind. [BERMAN - declares Sirhan in trance when killed Kennedy. Sirhan concentrated on mirrors to get into trance.] 1st prosecution witness is hotel employee. He identifies gun and Sirhan. Sirhan annoyed with attorney's description of him.
