(Studio) Mysterious girl in polka-dot dress testifies in trial of Sirhan Sirhan, accused of killing Senator Robert F. Kennedy.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(Los Angeles, California) Valerie Schulte testifies she hadn't ever seen Sirhan before shooting. Says she couldn't identify him then or now. Court room cleared due to suspicious noise in desk; turned out to be telephone repair work. Kennedy's body-guard, Bill Barry, told of being separated from Kennedy when he decided to ignore cleared path and walk into kitchen. After shooting, Barry slapped Sirhan. Barry points him out in court Olympic champion Rafer Johnson tells of taking gun away from Sirhan. [JOHNSON - felt that night that Sirhan was helpless and why should we do things to him like he'd just done. Feels same way.]
