(Studio) High drama at Sirhan Sirhan trial.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(Los Angeles, California) Sirhan leaps to feet when prosecution reads his notebooks aloud. Court adjourned after another outburst later in day. Defense Attorney Grant Cooper says Sirhan wants to plead guilty but defense won't let him. Sirhan feels his constitutional rights had been violated for taking his notebooks. Notebooks contain references to killing Senator Robert F. Kennedy. Judge Herbert Walker barred 2 pages from being read.
