(Detroit, Michigan) 2.5 million cars and trucks to get new point for carburetors. 2.5 million Chevrolets to be checked for faulty exhaust systems. [GM Spokesperson Fred COLLINS - explains problem with carburetor, which could cause accidents.] [GM Spokesperson Norman MAY - explains problems with tail-pipe rusting.] General Motors Corporation to foot all costs.
