(Los Angeles, California) Attys. snatch cigarette away from Sirhan before court begins. Attys. and friends persuaded him not to plead guilty. Sirhan quiet while notebook passed among jury. Notebook contains references to killing Senator Robert F. Kennedy. Detective William Jordan testifies Sirhan alert and intelligent after shooting. Sirhan pleased. [Defense Attorney Grant COOPER - told him he'd have to get another lawyer if outbursts continue.]
