(Studio) Iraq freed Paul Bail, American oil engineer, after month in jail on spy charge. Wife freed earlier after weeks of house arrest. Bail charged with using shortwave radio set for spying; no connection with Bail and those executed by Iraq.

(Baghdad, Iraq) 2 synagogues in Iraq; government denies 9 Jews hanged because of faith. Grand Rabbi Sassan Khdouri, in television interview, says trials were legal. 14 hanged were of different faiths. Grand Rabbi of Iraq over 90; refuses CBS interview.
