(Studio) Federal grand jury indicts 8 Chicago policemen and 8 demonstrators for role in Democratic Convention violence. 1 police lieutenant charged with perjury; other 7 assault. 8 civilians charged with violating anti-riot provisions of 1968 Civil Rights Act. Defenders include David Dellinger, Rennie Davis, Tom Hayden, Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Bobby Seale, John Froines, and Lee Weiner. Suspended NBC employee Enid Roth accused of bugging 2 convention rooms.
