(Studio) For. Relations Committee recommends Senator ratify nuclear nonproliferation treaty. Chairperson William Fulbright predicts win. Committee asks Nixon not to proceed with deployment of anti-ballistic missile system until talks on arms control set up with USSR .

(DC) Reports exist Nixon will approve "thin" missile system, with 1 year delay. He wants missile combination and more sophisticated radar at sites away from major cities. Senators Jacob Javits, John Sherman Cooper and Charles Percy argue at White House against anti-ballistic missile construction.
