(DC) 15 Democrat Senators, led by George McGovern, introduction excess war profits tax bill. [McGOVERN - says since 1965, Corporation wartime profits climbed 33%. Measure would recapture $9.5 billion excess war profits.] [Senator Ralph YARBOROUGH - asks which is more important: profit or blood of men in Vietnam?] Senator Mike Mansfield says chance for passing fair. Senator Everett Dirksen scornful.
