(Capitol Hill) Kleindienst testifies to clear up inconsistencies between his former statements and those of White House aide Peter Flanigan. Senator Kennedy inquires about mtgs. with former ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation) chief Richard McLaren. [Senator Birch BAYH - says somebody is lying.] [Senator James EASTLAND - feels everyone has been truthful.] [Senator John TUNNEY - says Kleindienst's nomination will be discussed at length on Senate floor.]
