(Studio) Indianapolis Mayor says last night's violence in Negro neighborhood spontaneous, and calls no curfew.

(Indianapolis, IN) White-owned market hit by firebomb; crowd obstructs firemen from work. Police come in, but building burns. Trouble begins when youths turn on 2 policemen investigating incident. Stores looted. Police roped off 1 mile area and didn't move in force. Negro leaders plead for calm. Trouble ends in early a. m.
