(New Haven, Connecticut) 77% graduating seniors ask Vietnam protest be allowed in commencement exercises. [Class Secretary William THOMPSON - says frustration and despair overwhelm us. Public condones violence and senseless military actions abroad, killing 1000's of Vietnam and Americans War must end and fight for cities, nation, and people must begin.] Nixonite Thompson hopes people repelled by riots may once again listen to students.
