(Studio) Washington state supreme court throws out injunction blocking busing to achieve racial balance in Seattle public schools. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Federal court rules against state law to reimburse parents for children's tuition costs in non-public schools. President Nixon ironically, in Philadelphia at time, pledging support to private and parochial schools.

[NIXON - says disappearance of non- public schools would saddle American tax payers with additional school operating costs, and funds for new schools. Calls for: relief from property taxes; development of alternative sources of finance; preservation of non-public schools.
