(Studio) Southern Christian Leadership Conference leader Reverend Ralph Abernathy predicts other blacks to win elections like 1 in Alabama. Blacks control county commission and board of education.

(Greene Cnty., Alabama) Abernathy and others pick up older man to take him to vote. Supreme Court ordered reelection after local judge removed names of 6 blacks as candidates for qualification reasons. Pop. 80% black. [SCLC member Hosea WILLIAMS - says we'll control county commission and board of education if we win.] 6 blacks won. [MAN - says don't care if blacks take control if they do good job.] [2nd MAN - says people elected that can't write name.] [3rd MAN - says I'd better accept black victory.; it's here.]
