(Studio) President Nixon spoke out against liberalized abortion laws. Me now singles out New York State law. New York State assembly votes to repeal statute which is 2 years old.

(Albany, New York) [Assemblyman, ED. CRAWFORD - recalls commandment given to Moses by God - Thou shalt not kill.] [Assemblyman, G. Oliver KOPPELL - says women deserve freedom to make moral choice.] Bill to repeal passes easily, and is now in State Senator Governor Rockefeller vows to veto repeal, but Nixon may pressure him. State cannot do away with abortion - they can only make it illegal, and unsafe. Women have abortions under or out of laws men create.
