(Chicago, Illinois) Some construction workers march to Federal Bldg, to exchange insults with Chicago 8 supporters. Police keep 2 groups apart. Jury is 10 women and 2 men. Jurors mostly middle-aged and middle class. Chief Defense, Attorney, William Kunstler challenges 10 jurors, incling, 4 who were relatives of Police Prosecutor Thomas Foran challenges 1. Judge Julius Hoffman rebukes defense attys. on motions and for their criticism of the way he read indictments and picked jury.
