(Studio) Alabama Governor George Wallace, shot two weeks ago in Laurel, Maryland shopping center Wallace campaign manager says staff extends sympathies to Raleigh victims and families. Senator and Mrs. Edward Kennedy visit Wallace.

(Silver Spring, Maryland) [KENNEDY - recalls his own seven-month hospital stay after back injury suffered in plane crash. Hopes his own recovery reassures Wallace.] Wallace now spends time in wheelchair. He expands campaign efforts in New Mexico and California. [Wallace campaign manager, Charles SNIDER - hopes to win popular vote for Wallace to give him leverage at Miami Beach, Florida, Democratic National Convention.] George Wallace, Junior scheduled for campaign appearances in New Mexico and California in behalf of father.
