(Studio) 24 hour strike by airline pilots to press for stronger action against air piracy has relatively little effect in US. Federal courts issue orders against walk-out. Only Eastern and Northeast Airlines hold operations.

(London, England) Pilots' protest strike disrupts air traffic all over Europe. Heathrow looks like ghost town of deserted planes. Public takes strike in good stride. [International Pilots Federation Exec, Secretary, Captain Chas. JACKSON - says public supports move, is sympathetic toward pilots' efforts.] American intercontinental flights carry on business as usual under court order.
