(Studio) Cost of Living Council issues ruling with regard to auto makers.
(DC) Council rules auto mfrs. must notify commission of intended price hikes. If not stopped in 72 hrs., rates will be raised. Nixon appears before council to praise it; praises public for success of wage-price freeze; says continued support will cut inflation in 1/2 by next year [NIXON - says continued support will cut inflation in 1/2.] Council coordinates pay board and price commission; pay board to decide retroactive wage issue.
