(Studio) Senator Robert Taft introduced bill to permit draft evaders to return to US if agreeing to spend 3 years in government service.

(Toronto, Canada) Many draft dodgers and deserters in Canada. Some feel Taft amnesty bill is Nixon political move to remove draft-dodger issue from upcoming campaign.
