(Studio) South Vietnam forces capture Tchepone, Laos.

(Laos) Head of South Vietnam column ambushed; column now 10 mile in Laos.

(Laos) United States protective unit guards helicopter, shot down in Laos, until rescue made.
REPORTER: Don Webster

(Studio) 4 United States helicopters reported shot down; 3 American cameramen among missing: Larry Burrows ("Life" magazine), Henri Huet (AP), and Kent Potter (UPI). South Vietnam Vice President Ky raises possibility of South Vietnam attack in North Vietnam to insure successful, Laos operation. Secretary of State Rogers denies any such plan; Pentagon sources don't rule out possibility.
