(NYC) New York City stores can barely keep hot pants in stock. [Designer Donald BROOKS - says hot pants designed for young girls or anyone with great body.] [Designer Mollie PARNIS - says shorts on streets vulgar and in bad taste.] [BROOKS - thinks there's little stripper in every girl.] [Designer Oscar De La RENTA - says most women dress to seduce; hot pants and clothes over them enable girls to do public strip tease; fashions today dictated by people on street.] [PARNIS - says those without money imitate styles of those with money.] [BROOKS - feels hot pants are fad.]
