(Studio) Women's Lib comes to the circus.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(Venice, Florida) Women always had place in circus as acrobats and show girls. Ringling Brothers Circus now using girls as clowns. [Clown Maudie Lou FLIPPEN - says happier as clown than trying to be glamorous; likes the attention; don't think children consider clowns male or female; intends to do this rest of life.] [Clown Instructor Mark ANTHONY - thinks women fine as clowns, not feminine clowns.] [Clown Peggy WILLIAMS - says love everything about being with circus; don't know how being woman clown related to women's lib; have done self favor by finding job can enjoy; likes to see adults laugh.]
