(DC) AFL-CIO President George Meany to meet with Democratic Vice Presidential nominee, Senator Thomas Eagleton, who will try to bring labor back into fold after nomination process in which labor's traditional role was all but ignored. [EAGLETON - recognizes problems on issues. Democratic ticket is dovish on Vietnam war while Meany is hawkish. Domestic beliefs said compatible, however: minimum wage, housing, etc.]
