(Studio) Eagleton's colleagues in Senate display bipartisan unity in praising his conduct as a Senator

(Capitol Hill) [Senator Mike MANSFIELD - expresses utmost confidence in Eagleton.] [Senator Hugh SCOTT - says Eagleton is a fine and decent man. Says this Democratic opponent has made statement which becomes him.] [Senator Harold HUGHES - former alcoholic, says Eagleton's experiences have strengthened him.] Many Senators say privately, however, that Eagleton disclosures have hurt Democratic ticket.
